Gaber design and create, according to the rhythms and needs of nature, with respect for our natural environment for projects with a high social value that promote circular economy. Safeguarding the environment and a continual search for eco-friendly solutions play an important role within our company. This begins with the separate disposal of waste in both offices and on the factory floor: paper, cardboard, plastics, packaging, metal and glass are all separated out and recycled in other internal or external industrial processes, right up to self-sufficient energy production, thanks to the latest generation of photovoltaic (PV) solar panel systems.

Materials
Since 2000 Gaber has avoided the use of pollutants and encouraged the use of the most valued recycled materials.
TECHNOPOLYMER
Gaber production employs exclusively high-tech thermoplastic materials, which are 100% recyclable. Each techno-polymer item is marked with a specific symbol, which shows the kind of polymer for a quick identification and a consequent recycling. Gaber produces plastic injected materials without added chemicals. These materials are purchased within the European Union, so Gaber is exempted from registration with ECHA agency (European Agency for Chemicals Substances), in the complete respect of “Reach Regulation”. As far as possible, recycled plastics are sourced as a base raw material, recovered post-consumption.
METAL
Gaber metal structures, in the full respect of our natural environment, are available with “trivalent” chroming and painted finishes. Primequality special epoxy powder coating used on Gaber frames enhance color stability from batch to batch and over time, increasing its corrosion resistance and achieving excellent resistance to atmospheric agents.
WOOD
Wooden products are manufactured in accordance with the European Regulations in force regarding formaldehyde emissions from wood-based products (E1 according EN717-EN120). Gaber uses wooden raw materials coming from PEFC chain of custody certified materials.
PACKAGING
Corrugated paperboard carton boxes, printed with environmentally friendly inks, are made of at least 80% recycled and recyclable materials, coming from the chain custody FSC Recycled. Packaging is sized in order to optimize storage and transport requirements, both helping the environment and saving on transport costs.
CAM: minimum environmental criteria
The application of the Minimum Environmental Criteria enhances environmental quality and respect for social criteria, also responding to the need to promote a more circular production and consumption model.

The environmental benefits of renewable energy
The energy produced by the photovoltaic panel system contributes to powering the production, storage and air conditioning departments of the Gaber plants.

Recycling unit
When a production chain works at its best, it also prevents the creation of waste, saves resources and reduces any impact on the environment. To ensure the sustainability of its activities, Gaber invests in latest generation technologies, thanks to which energy consumption is reduced and waste materials reused.

Gaber Recycling Unit is a division of Gaber that allows the recycling of plastic and metal materials from post-industrial consumption, automatically optimizing the separation of different raw materials, which are thus reused in subsequent production runs.
